The Position

Help drive awareness and demand of Mission Measurement and the Impact Genome Project among key audiences to support our efforts in driving real social change.

The Associate Manager is responsible for leading and contributing to projects that ultimately drive revenue growth. This role will execute audience-specific activities supporting current client marketing initiatives as well as driving lead generation among new corporate philanthropy, government and nonprofit audiences. This role will document and promote our work, communicating company and client milestones and what makes us a market leader. This role will market both the benefit of supporting the Impact Genome Project and our Mission Measurement consulting tools and services.

This role will collaborate internally with the account management, consulting and research teams and externally with key partners such as The Conference Board and Charity Navigator. The role will report into the Vice President of Corporate Comminutions and Marketing and may require period travel.

The Responsibilities
  • Channel/B2B Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Partner on crafting channel marketing strategy, develop plan and execute focused marketing initiatives that reach core audiences: corporate CSR leads, large-scale nonprofits and policy makers
    • Act as brand steward in deploying the company’s tone and visual identity consistently across channels and materials
  • Content Development & Deployment:
    • Partner on development of content strategy and create/manage content calendar of materials to be published on website, social channels, blog, via email and third-party channels
    • Develop template materials include decks, one-pagers and other collateral to support and/or client needs drive visibility of our consulting service offerings and Impact Genome Project initiatives
    • Manage cosmetic content updates to website including posting new articles, blogs, job descriptions, reports, etc.
    • Develop materials to speaking opportunities or other presentation needs
    • Support management and oversight of designers to visually articulate our value proposition on all materials
  • Website Content Optimization & Management:
    • Monitor, optimize and manage website content and traffic to drive quality leads
    • Establish KPIs to increase website traffic and engagement
  • Partnerships Management:
    • Develop and manage marketing relationships with key partners including The Conference Board, Charity Navigator and others
  • Internal Collaboration:
    • Partner with key internal team members to drive work efficiently.
  • 5-7 years in marketing or related field
  • BA or BS degree in marketing or a related field
  • Experience working in/knowledge of corporate social responsibility and philanthropy field
  • Excellent content development, messaging and writing skills
  • Experience developing digital, web and email marketing campaigns
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed cross-functional environment • Superior organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt plans through change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in WordPress content management system
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics
